Seneca Flight Operations is a division of Seneca Foods that offers executive air charter service. Since 1956 we have been known as one of the most professional and respected air charter services in the Northeast.
Seneca Flight was conceived to serve the busy executive who needs the speed and flexibility of a private charter. Our customers depart at a time of their choosing, stay at their destination as long as they like, and return when their business is done. They also avoid the inherent difficulties of commercial airline travel: crowded terminals, canceled flights and lack of privacy. They work or rest undisturbed and arrive refreshed and ready to go.
Seneca Flight offers a variety of aircraft to serve our customers, whether traveling alone or with a group, on a short flight or to another continent. Four jets – a Falcon 50, a Falcon 10, and two Citation II’s, – and a light twin Beechcraft Baron are based in Penn Yan, New York. We employ fully–equipped systems for all weather flight including radar, de–icing equipment and navigation systems, which are continually updated as new technologies become available.
Our hallmark is a solid record of flight safety. This is the product of proactive and meticulous maintenance procedures aimed at prevention rather than repair, as well as continuous pilot and mechanic training programs. Our crew of highly experienced, airline transport pilots is second to none in the air charter industry; many have over 6,000 hours of flight time.
